Demonstrating its versatility as well as the global scope of its activities, NAES, a broad-based provider of services to the energy industry, recently announced the signing of operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements for a wind power facility in Kansas and a combined cycle power plant under construction west of Singapore.

For the Kansas facility, which is owned and managed by CPV Renewable Energy Company, and comprises 72 Siemens 2.3 -108 wind turbine generators, NAES responsibilities include site management, dispatch interface, maintenance of balance of plant equipment, as well as management of the turbine warranty, service and maintenance agreement and other site maintenance contractors.

The Singapore-area project, for which NAES is also providing full O&M services, is a 400 MW combined cycle facility owned by Tuaspring Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Hyflux, one of the world’s leading fully-integrated water solutions companies. The plant will supply energy to a Hyflux seawater desalination facility being constructed adjacent to the power plant, with excess power to be sold commercially to the National Electricity Market of Singapore.

Headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, NAES is the world’s leading provider of comprehensive services to industries that generate or consume power. NAES is owned by ITOCHU International Inc., the North American flagship subsidiary of ITOCHU Corporation.
