Development
From its beginning over 150 years ago, ITOCHU has had high expectations for its employees. In return for their hard work, our founder offered employees training, a pleasant work environment and opportunities for advancement. Today we still believe in that contract. Your success here will depend on your contributions and your ability to demonstrate ITOCHU’s core competencies: Diversity Mindset, Business Acumen, Professional Maturity, Open Communications and Achievement Oriented.

Employees can choose from a menu of over 100 online courses ranging from high-level accounting to software applications to business skills development, as well as a full range of webinar and classroom setting in-house training sessions. These courses are linked directly to ITOCHU's core competencies. The Company also offers tuition reimbursement for eligible employees.
