In Russia, Itochu Corporation is participating in the Sakhalin I Project (as the largest private shareholder of Japanese consortium “SODECO”) and in the onshore project in East Siberia together with Irkutsk Oil Company (as the largest private shareholder of Japanese consortium “JASSOC”). The Energy Department aim to making contribution to the energy security of Japan, as well as to the development of Russian Economy.
