Ken Fukui assumed the role of Senior Vice President & General Manager of our Energy & Chemicals Division in April 2026. Concurrently, he serves as Chairman, President & CEO of ITOCHU Chemicals America Inc.

Mr. Fukui has over 32 years of experience with ITOCHU group, amassing extensive expertise in the global chemical and energy business, especially in the upstream petrochemicals industries including integrated supply chain management and global risk assessment. Throughout his career with ITOCHU group, Mr. Fukui has spearheaded ITOCHU’s strategic initiatives and business development projects across North America, Europe, and Asia, including the management of joint ventures.

Prior to his current role with our company, Mr. Fukui served as of Senior Officer, Chemical Division, Energy & Chemicals Company as well as Hydrogen & Ammonia Project Section, Energy & Chemicals Company of ITOCHU Corporation, where he was instrumental in developing supply chains for basic chemicals, conventional energy sources and next-generation energy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders in alignment with ITOCHU’s sustainability and decarbonization strategies.

Mr. Fukui holds a Bachelor of International Economics degree from Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan.
