Senior Vice President & General Manager, Food Division and Branch Manager, Portland Office, ITOCHU International Inc.

Yoshitomo Yamada assumed the role of Senior Vice President & General Manager of our Food Division in April 2026. Concurrently, he serves as Branch Manager of our Portland Office in Portland, Oregon.

Mr. Yamada has 25 years of experience with the ITOCHU group and extensive expertise in the global industries of grain, oilseeds, oils & fats, feed and cacao.

Previously, Mr. Yamada served as General Manager, Cacao & Sesame Section, Oils and Fats, Cacao Department with Food Company, ITOCHU Corporation in Japan, where he led his team to advance ITOCHU’s cacao and sesame global trading. In his prior roles, he spearheaded multiple investment planning and implementation for ITOCHU’s business in the grain, oilseeds, oils & fats, feed and cacao industries.

Mr. Yamada holds a Bachelor of Foreign Studies (International Law) from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Japan.
